Reinventing the rules of the game! Through cultural exchanges and technological advancements, humanity has transformed its communication methods, whether oral, written, printed, or digital. Voices have spread through various channels, becoming ever faster, more interactive, and more pervasive. In doing so, they have transformed the concept of space-time, significantly reducing the sense of distance between speakers. SG Mag 3 humbly explores the relationship between humanity and language in a special feature. A significant part of our social interactions involves sending and transmitting messages, receiving them, interpreting them, and re-broadcasting them. Today, machines are taking over forums, and humans are no longer the sole masters of discussions. Conversational agents are infiltrating every stage of the information chain, and sometimes, it becomes difficult to discern who is who between humans and machines. Many questions arise, and the very definition of what it means to be human is tending to be redefined.<\/p>

Some see it as madness, a disaster, or a windfall!<\/p>

In a world surrounded by uncertainties, SG MAG observes changes and tests new forms. This issue marks the end of SG MAG's digital and bi-annual formula. SG \u00c9ditions will take a step back, enter a chrysalis to prepare for its metamorphosis and offer other platforms, more in line with the needs of its environment. In the meantime, enjoy reading!<\/p>

The Beast hides. It isolates itself. It prowls. Its shadow appears in the light of the moon, for it is at night that beasts come out of their lairs.<\/p>

Ah, yes... And what if the beast was hiding because it feared the gaze of others? And what if the beast hunched its back, lowered its head, and bristled its fur because your shouts frightened it?.<\/p>

Why does the beast frighten us? It awakens the animality within each of us. So, we push it away. We reject it. We set aside the\u00a0freak<\/em>. They throw him out of town. They lock him up. So much so that this one, male or female, has only two options left: to embrace their role as a monster, to act sluggish and menacing, or to struggle, to shout: \u00abI am not an animal! I am a human being! I am... a man.\u00bb But the moment the jester opens their mouth, their interlocutor is faced with a choice: this strange cry, should I pay attention to it or ignore it?<\/p>

This special \u00abBeast\u00bb issue is also an opportunity for us to look at the unknown with fresh eyes and to question everything\u00a0a priori<\/em>. Let's be a bit like Belle, the bookworm from Disney, who, under the snow, gets to know the Beast:<\/p>

\u00abThere's something in his eyes<\/p>

A bit fragile and light<\/p>

As a hope<\/p>

My friend, with eyes of silk<\/p>

You smiled<\/p>

But just yesterday, I didn't know\u00bb<\/p>

And then, finally, let us dare to turn the mirror around and contemplate our reflection: to finally discover the true Beast.<\/p>

\u00abCould humans be so powerful, so magnificent, and at the same time so evil, so vile? To show themselves as great, noble, and sensitive, but also full of abjection and baseness?,<\/em>\u00a0Frankenstein's monster (penned by Mary Shelley).<\/p>

SG Mag: Rock \u2019n' roll or Punk? That's the question... or not.<\/strong><\/p>

Fill your playlist with music that makes you vibrate, choose your rhythm, your styles \u2013 for those who have trouble deciding \u2013 understand that sounds create images and that words resonate within us: that's good, but it's not everything!<\/p>

In a school of applied arts and communication that has worked for several years to multiply partnerships with concert halls and performance venues, music is part of the fabric and permeates the creations of high school and university students. Music creates movement; design responds to contemporary movements, and everything communicates in all directions to a group of individuals. Hibernarock Festival, Iggy Pop concerts, immersive shows, but also a Comic Strip Festival and professional workshops: what do these actions have in common?
Meetings, exchanges, and doing things together! Because the more the merrier! Because a thousand heads are better than one! Because we learn better with our buddies! Besides, a two-headed graphic designer took care of SG MAG #1: thank you to Antoine Della Valle and Timoth\u00e9e Rouffy! So, now:<\/p>
