In January, the students of Digital DN MADE<\/a> students from Saint G\u00e9raud Aurillac participated in a three-day educational trip to Lyon and Villeurbanne. The objective: to meet designers, discover innovative creative structures, and better understand continuing education.<\/strong> opportunities after their graduation.<\/p>

This Lyon immersion offered students a concrete vision of current digital design practices and creative professions. This trip was made accessible to all students thanks to the support of the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes Region through the \u00abAURA D\u00e9couverte R\u00e9gion\u00bb program.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The stay began with the visit of the Museum of Cinema and Miniature<\/a>. Iconic sets, costumes, and props \u2014 from Beetlejuice to Alien \u2014 allowed for an exploration of the links between craftsmanship, storytelling, and imagery, and to measure the importance of detail in constructing a visual universe.<\/p>

Beyond discovery, this visit highlighted the complementarity between traditional know-how and contemporary technologies, at the heart of narrative design practices.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The students then went to the PIXEL Hub in Villeurbanne<\/a> for an afternoon dedicated to professional networking. They notably discovered Erasmus<\/a>, an innovation laboratory serving public policy (health, education, social action), as well as several studios specializing in immersive technologies: GRAME<\/a>, national center for musical creation; ; Blanktone<\/a>, dedicated to immersive and interactive sound design; and Theorize<\/a>, . manufacturing innovative digital experiences.<\/p>

These exchanges provided a concrete understanding of the realities of contemporary creation and the bridges between design, sound, and interactive technologies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A special time to connect with Caroline Bernard Scenes<\/a> allowed us to address the realities of the sector: professional statuses, diversity of clients, collaborative work, integration, and career progression. These discussions gave students a clearer vision of possible career paths after graduation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The stay concluded with a presentation of post-DN MADE training programs, with discussions with students and professionals from the Digital School, followed by a visit to the\u2019\u00c9mile Cohl School<\/a> and the discovery of their expertise in animated film. This final stage allowed students to realistically envision the continuation of their journey.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
