A concept in all its forms

Development of a range of textile patterns, playing with the notion of accident. 

All forms of contemporary creation have embraced the notion of accident. Our students have enriched their vocabularies by juxtaposing this concept. Accidents can interact with their productions during their execution, lending them an unexpected added value. The experiments could thus present an evolutionary character, leading to a result that wasn't classically intended, offering a novel aspect. They were able to employ all sorts of treatments: abrasions, tears, distortions, fading, unraveling, imprints, gluing, fossilization, fusion, folding, shrinking, staining...
