The cultural life is in the DNA of the specialized programs in communication and applied arts at St-Géraud High School.
It is developing thanks to the commitment of teachers; it has been participating for several years in the Cultural Component program; and through the long-standing connections established with artistic institutions in Aurillac and the region.
It's a way to enhance the educational offering of teaching through real-world actions that are motivating for learners, and through diversified human and cultural encounters by building professional approaches.
The sustainability of the actions is ensured through associations that regularly develop and initiate new partnerships and actions in collaboration with museums, theaters, media libraries, concert halls, music festivals, comic book festivals, cinemas, street theater company residencies...
It materializes within workshops open to all pupils and students (radio, publishing, etc.) and/or projects offered to class groups according to cultural events (events, exhibitions, workshops, etc.).
