The apprenticeship contract

The apprenticeship contract is intended for young people aged 16 to 29 (with some exceptions).

  • Status The apprentice is an employee of the company, receiving remuneration according to a regulatory scale.

The professionalization contract

  • Status The employee receives variable compensation based on their age and level of education.

FAQ - Work-Study at Saint Géraud

BMA (Diploma of Crafts). One-year apprenticeship program.

BTS Communication. The second year of the BTS Communication is accessible through a work-study program.

DN MADE. A gap year is accessible in the third year of the program.

Bachelor of Communication Management. Work-study training program over one year.

Master's Degree in Art Direction for Visual Communication Projects 2-year work-study program.

Starting in December, complete your Registration form and send it at the high school office. After receiving and reviewing your application, a member of the academic team will contact you to schedule an interview.  

Your work-study training cycle is funded by OPCOs (Operators of Skills) and you will be paid as part of your apprenticeship or professionalization contract. 

The alternation rhythm of our training programs is very attractive. It represents 15 to 17 weeks at the training center (over 12 months) and the rest of the time at the company. Training sessions take place over full weeks.

We pay special attention to the quality of our recruitment. All trainers are active professionals, specialists in their field of expertise. They draw on real-world experience or your specific issues to impart key professional skills to you. 

Saint Géraud will accompany you in your application process through its network of partner companies. If your profile matches their needs, we will present your application to them. We organize a job dating session every year. The date will be communicated to you once your enrollment in the training is confirmed. 

You benefit from a dual advantageous status. You are both an apprentice and an employee (remuneration, retirement contributions, general social security scheme, 5 weeks of paid leave per year, etc.) 

Don't panic! We'll assist you with your search and allow you to start your training, even without a host company. You have up to 3 months after the start date of your training to sign your future contract.
