The objectives of the BTS Communication
Handle advertiser requests, develop and manage a communication plan in a digitized environment, implement creative and technological monitoring, create content, purchase services, collect, analyze, and disseminate information on media and digital ecosystem developments, assist sales teams in valuing innovative solutions, participate in a work team, budget and control the various tasks of Visual communication.
You will also learn to manage the link between the advertiser and the various stakeholders, produce, control, evaluate, and disseminate communication solutions that meet the expectations of diverse audiences. You will be able to, within the BTS Communication program participate in commercial, institutional, social, and public actions. These operations will take the form of projects: advertising, events, and public relations.

Vocational education
Communication Strategy Development: All types of organizations, such as businesses, commercial enterprises, and associations, seek to communicate or improve their internal or external communication. BTS Communication students are there to analyze their problems, define their objectives, and thus propose and develop the most suitable solutions.
It should be known that today, communication within an establishment or organization is very important. It allows for the exchange of messages that serve its proper development or even increase visibility or its reputation in order to increase its sales. Work on these different communication projects allows BTS Communication students to immerse themselves in the professional world with a real business challenge.
Communication solution design: Understand your audience, select appropriate channels, create engaging visual content including viable strategies, maximize the impact of your message. Measure and adjust regularly to stay in sync with your evolving audience and market.
Development of media and digital solutions Understanding needs and objectives, creating customized solutions, using the latest technology, long-term monitoring and performance analysis.

Visual and global communication culture: Over 50 years of communication since advertising! That's enough time to have a history to analyze, techniques to master and evaluate: we transmit to you a real media culture. All students graduating from BTS Com we have the necessary tools to have a real communication culture.
Economic, Legal, and Managerial Cultures (CEJM): The objective is to understand the rules governing the relationships between individuals and organizations in our society. Learning and analysis of economic phenomena related to the production, distribution, and consumption of wealth, goods, and services in society.

Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurship is an active undertaking. It consists of a project leader undertaking, meaning bringing their project to fruition. This can involve creating a new business or taking over an existing one. To undertake is to start with an idea, refine it into a project, formulate it into a strategy, and deploy it in the form of action plans. The courses will help you understand the concept of entrepreneurship and measure its impacts.
Citizen engagement: Why and how citizens engage, forms of committed participation more or less conventional to express one's opinions according to individual social characteristics.
Your BTS Communication apprenticeship
For several years now, Saint Géraud Aurillac has been developing a network of partner companies through which you can achieve your second year of BTS in alternating work-study in communication.

Required level to start the training
To be admitted to the BTS Com, you need to be Graduated with a general, technological, or professional baccalaureate (tertiary sector).
Some high school diplomas are favored for admission to this degree by institutions. New graduates from the STMG, ES, and S tracks are the most common.
However, rest assured, the baccalaureate track obtained is not a mandatory requirement. The selection of future students is based on their application, either through Parcoursup or directly on our website via a Direct application.
BTS Communication, what to do next?
After graduating with a BTS in Communications, whether through work-study or not, students hold a Level 5 diploma (Bac +2). Increasingly, students are continuing their studies in longer programs. At Saint Géraud Aurillac, continuity is ensured with the Bachelor Responsible Communication, who is a tLevel 6 (Bachelor's degree + 3 years) degree offered through the apprenticeship pathway.
Further studies
As indicated above, the BTS Communication fits perfectly into a Bac +3 (Bachelor's degree) training program through the Bachelor Responsible Communication.By enrolling directly in a Bachelor's program from the 1st yearera Year, you will prepare the BTS COM while benefiting from additional modules related to digital marketing (e-influence, video, virtual reality…).
Upon obtaining your BTS, you will advance to the 3rd year.e year of Bachelor Responsible Communication through apprenticeships to obtain this Bac +3 (Bachelor's degree) specialized in digital communication and social networks. Finally, it is also possible to continue with a professional license after your BTS Communication (Advanced Technician's Certificate in Communication).
