Pepin Journal Elaboration November 2022

Pépin is a collaborative journal between the Festival d'Aurillac and the Terminale Bac Professionnel Artisanat et Métiers d’Art Communication Visuelle Pluri-Médias class, who imagined a newspaper covering news from the residencies at Le Parapluie.

Thursday, November 17, the high school seniors CAP Signage, Graphics, and Decoration, accompanied by professors M. Benavent and M. Verger, as well as a DN MADE student, Timothée Rouffy, visited Le Parapluie at the TITANOS company, who were in residence for two weeks in Cantal, with the goal of producing issue number 27 of the journal by early November.

Company members Pierre Galotte and Cécile Dechosal presented their project: COSMOGONOS. This project consists of several attractions, like a theme park: roller coaster, carousels, hot air balloons, a mini train, etc., which you find in modern amusement parks. The difference being that this park, within the show's narrative, was abandoned just before its opening!

The screenwriter, the artist Winchluss, relied on the creations of the company's thirty-odd members to build a story with them that will take you on a journey through a fantastical universe!

Following this meeting, a new issue of the Pépin newspaper has been released! You can find it here: https://www.aurillac.net/images/stories/pdf/Pepin/PEPIN_N27-PAGES.pdf
