Dead Chic, with the first year Bac Pro AMA CVPM students
Barely inaugurated (it was with Têtes Raides on May 25, 2022), the brand-new contemporary music concert hall in Aurillac, LE SISMOGRAPHE, has naturally been added to the list of loyal partners of the professional programs at St-Géraud high school.
For two years, releases have been coming out at an almost monthly pace, each with a souvenir screen-printed poster for the audience... and the artists themselves, who appreciate this little extra (punchy, peppy, and colorful) touch on top of the concert.
Sometimes, teachers and students get a little carried away and create not one, but two, or even three distinct posters, representing different visions of the same musical universe. This is what happened on March 29th, with the Franco-English quartet DEAD CHIC. It seems the skull motif inspired the graphic design students (1st year Bac Pro CVPM), authors of this collection of very rock silkscreen prints that plunged the Sismographe audience into abysses of perplexity... Which one to choose? The pink queen, the yellow skeleton, or the shining gold tooth? All three, by all means!
