As part of the 20th anniversary retrospective exhibition’Hibernarock, the high school seniors Professional Baccalaureate in Crafts and Artistic Trades – Visual Merchandising Option designed and executed a Large-scale scenography project, in partnership with the Departmental Archives of Cantal.
A scenographic project designed for the Hibernarock 20th Anniversary exhibition
Enrolled in the specific scenography training coloration, this project allowed students to confront a full professional process Analyze an existing location, consider the perception of spaces, organize circulation, and imagine a coherent and immersive visitor experience.
The scenographic bias is based on the Visual transposition of the Hibernarock universe, blending the raw energy of rock with a strong winter imagery.
Supervised by Madame Colle-Lieurade and Madame Simon-Bauer, applied arts professors, The students handled all stages of the project. from graphic and spatial design to manufacturing, right through to on-site installation.
The scenographic route is organized around several striking elements:
- a typographic totem, Hibernarock, signaling the entrance to the exhibition; ;
- poached bear paws in spray snow on the picture windows; ;
- A series of anthropomorphic fir trees with rock codes. ;
- a cladding for the pillars evoking fire gushing from ice ;
- A friendly screening space featuring a melted vinyl-shaped rug and a curtain of records.
Transpose the Hibernarock universe into an immersive scenographic experience
The set consists of Immersive, warm, and cohesive ambiance, in resonance with the content of the exhibition. This project fully illustrates the commitment, creativity, and expertise of our students Professional Baccalaureate in Crafts and Art Trades - Visual Merchandising option.
