A (nearly) white wall at Saint-Géraud High School? The opportunity was too good to pass up for the senior students. CAP Signage and Graphic Decorations !
Under the guidance of their teacher Audrey Guinet, the students set out to decorate this wall to brighten up their common room. Here, in a few photos, is the making of of this superb fresco.
Step #1: Design
Lola Valin's very beautiful proposal was chosen.
Step #2: Preparing the Base
A white wall... not so white! A little primer coat is needed...
Step #3: Painting the stars
Benches have also been installed against the wall for comfort, friendliness, and a very pleasing visual effect.
Step #4: Painting the Designs
The drawing is projected onto the wall to be reproduced perfectly to scale.
Final result
Finished mural: beautiful, isn't it?
A big bravo to the students of CAP in Signage and Graphic Design for this artwork that now benefits everyone. This painting will serve as the backdrop for class photos.
And to conclude this short report, a final photo in tribute to the artist Keith Haring.
