A busy return to school at Lycée Saint-Géraud Aurillac

Since the end of August, the educational community at Saint-Géraud Aurillac high school has kicked off the 2025-2026 school year with enthusiasm and many highlights.

This year, Saint-Géraud High School is hosting 526 students : 274 in pre-bac, 215 in post-bac, and 32 in apprenticeship training. True to its reputation, the institution attracts young people from all over France, demonstrating its dynamism and appeal.

A time for the educational team to reconnect

The back-to-school period began on August 29 through the traditional back-to-school meeting, bringing together teachers and staff from the high school. A moment of cohesion and preparation to best welcome our students.

This highlight also served to reinforce the spirit of the educational project. “Our School, Let's Make It”, which guides the actions undertaken at Saint-Géraud. For over 30 years, the establishment has established itself as a benchmark in the fields of Communication, Design and Crafts, by offering training programs from CAP to Master's degrees, in traditional schooling and apprenticeships.

True to its values of openness, innovation, and creativity, the high school is committed to concrete projects and the local, regional, and international partnerships, to expose students to the reality of their future professions. This positive attitude continues to evolve around three strong pillars: opening, transmission, and sharing of skills.

Rendez-vous étudiants Lycée Saint-Géraud Aurillac

A cultural hub under the sign of blessing

The September 23, the school's cultural center was blessed by His Excellency Noblot. This significant moment symbolically marked the importance of culture in Saint Géraud's educational project and in the daily lives of our students.

The ceremony was punctuated by readings by the students, giving the event a solemn and participatory dimension.
After the blessing, a warm exchange brought together the students, the bishop, and the members of the OGEC board. It was an opportunity to share thoughts, values, and ambitions for the future of our institution.

This special moment reinforced the sense of belonging to an educational community where culture, openness, and humanism are central.

«This back-to-school season confirms that Lycée Saint-Géraud is not just a place of learning, but also a place for exchange, creativity, and openness to the world.»
