Mall decorations made by the students of St-Géraud
Thibaut Espinas, Communications Manager for the E. Leclerc Center, asked us to participate in the decoration of the shopping center before the holidays. Bruno Verger, a plastic arts teacher at the school, proposed to 3 students in the BMA program.“Craftsmanship Diploma”during their 6-week work-study training period, to carry out this project. They were assisted by a professional graphic designer and painter, Mickaël “Pub” Madrignac, who will later continue his work with the new Aurillac-based cultural association «Dans la Place.».
After graphic research and numerous mock-ups created at school around the themes of Christmas and New Year's, one proposal caught the attention of Mr. Chauvet, director of the E.Leclerc center: it will be a general message for all the upcoming holidays, with typography used as a signature.

To set the stage nicely on the glass surface of the E.Leclerc center's facade, the company Cassio-Pub was of great help. They regularly lend a hand to the St. Géraud high school and once again rose to the occasion to manage the production, weeding, transfer, and installation of over 60 linear meters of vinyl, applied pane by pane. Four intense days of work, at a significant height, for a result that highlights the professional skills expected for the Applied Arts Diploma program., Graphic Arts, Signage Option who will specialize starting next school year in event signage, very large format.
But don't look for the 3 BMA students, they've already left with Mickaël and Bruno to finish a 18m2 mural in the inner courtyard of the École externat de l’Enfant Jésus on avenue de la République, as part of the Gerbert group.
