Evening Workshops 2025-2026: Creativity, Discovery, and Sharing

In October, time for the resumption of evening workshops, open to all students from Lycée Saint-Géraud Aurillac. These are true spaces for experimentation and discovery, guided by teachers, trainers, and external speakers.

This year again, students will be able to register for: Almost Comics, I'm not printing anymore!, SG Mag, 3D Workshop, Modeling & Sewing, or even Ciné-Soupe. In addition, there are workshops led by Vincent Pietri, which will propose exploring the video, sound design, AI and virtual reality, mural illustration, photography, and scenography.

Genuine weekly appointments, the evening workshops allow students to develop new skills, nourish their creativity, and open themselves to new horizons, all while sharing moments of conviviality and enriching collective experiences.

Almost Comics – 10 Years of Collective Creation

For ten years, the workshop «almost comic book» invites students to explore all the steps of creating a comic book: writing, paneling, drawing, and collective layout.
Beyond artistic practice, it's also a place for exchange and collaboration where everyone learns to argue, listen, and work as a team.

In 2026, participants will publish the 10th issue of «Presque BD», presented and dedicated during the Aurillac BD Festival, then available during the High school open house and in several partner libraries.

I'm printing less! - Experimenting with traditional printing

A workshop to experiment Traditional printing on all media. Everyone can develop their personal projects there, and at the end of the cycle, all the works will give life to a collective impression.

SG Magazine: Risograph and Publishing Workshop

SG Mag is a workshop for risograph printing and finishing. All formats are possible, all ideas are welcome: a space open to creativity, where everyone can imagine and realize their editorial projects.

Cine-Soup

An original date that combines cinema and conviviality The participants prepare a soup together before sharing a film screening in the amphitheater. 

A warm moment where movie buffs, foodies, and the curious cross paths.

3D Workshop

Open to all, regardless of level, The 3D workshop allows you to get started with Blender software. to create images, animations, or objects for printing. A great opportunity to discover the world of digital creation.

Modeling and sewing

This workshop offers discover or deepen the basics of pattern making and sewing. Starting with simple templates, students will learn to adapt them and create their own designs in a friendly and creative atmosphere.

We Art

The program We Art, hosted by Vincent Pietri and outside speakers, it invites students to push the boundaries of their creativity. A true artistic laboratory, it allows for the exploration of different mediums, the mixing of techniques, and the shaping of personal or collective projects.

Throughout the year, participants will be able to learn about Video capture and editing, English beat making and to the sound design, discover the’AI and virtual reality, or even try the’mural illustration, the photography and the scenography.

A unique space to imagine, test, collaborate and exhibit research, in a stimulating and innovative atmosphere.
